All Is Lost – REVIEWED

All Is LostThe sailboat saga released as an independent film is also mostly a silent film. There is very little vocalizing during the entire 106 minutes even if you’d feel more comfortable it would.

Many a modern day mariner might scuff at some of the mistakes Robert Redford makes while single-handling his sailboat on holiday in the Indian Ocean (really it’s Mexico).  Of course you will root for our hero even though he stubbornly sticks with his leaky boat to the very end. Will he make it or will he fall prey to the sea god, Poseidon? You’ll have to watch the film for yourself :)
